  • Day 2 - After breakfast at the hotel we have time in Carlow before our late morning departure via the country route to Kilkenny, often described as the greatest medieval city in Ireland. It is a compact city dominated by its ancient castle and historic buildings. In order for you to see it in ease, we include a journey on the local Land Train which winds its wat through the city allowing you to see all the major sights. Later we join our coach and drive to Waterford and to the Dooleys Hotel for dinner and a stay of three nights
