When you mention South Shields, many people think of a built up industrial area, however you will be pleasantly surprised with the beautiful beach and promenade. Our hotel is superbly located where the mouth of the River Tyne meets the sea. Watch the cargo vessels, cruise ships and overnight ferries saunter back and forth from their dock in Newcastle, it feels like you can put your hand out and push them away.
