The beautiful Tweed Valley is where we visit which is one of Scotland’s border rivers. We tour it from it’s source, inland where it becomes a wide and picturesque slow-moving river. We stay at the 4-star Peebles Hydro on the outskirts of the town of Peebles, having a commanding position with wonderful views over the valley. While here we included visits to Abbotsford, Sir Walter Scott’s home as well as the incredible Great Tapestry of Scotland at Galashiels together with a visit to Edinburgh with plenty of time to explore.

Day-by-day itinerary

After your doorstep service we join our luxury coach and travel north with refreshment stops to the Scottish Borders driving the scenic route over The Devils Beef Tub and source of the River Tweed to the Peebles Hydro Hotel for dinner and a stay of four nights.
