Ireland- Inishowen Peninsula, Malin Head, Giants Causeway & Derry

After we pick you up from your door-to-door, we join our luxury coach and travel north with comfort stops, over the border into Scotland and to the port of Cairnryan for our afternoon sea crossing to Belfast, then onto the Stormont Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today we have a leisurely breakfast and then join our luxury coach and travel north over the border into the Republic of Ireland, to the county of Donegal and to the Inishowen Gateway Hotel at Buncrana for dinner and a stay of 3 nights.

This morning we are joined by our resident guide who will share all the history of the area as we include a tour of Malin Head, the most northernly point of mainland Ireland at the edge of the wild Atlantic way. After admiring it’s beauty, we continue to the fascinating city of Derry/Londonderry for a guided walking tour including the city walls and peace bridge.

Today, we have an included visit to the Giants Causeway famous for it’s stone pillars, fairytales and folklore. We will also call at the small village of Muff, where it is possible to sample various types of gin as well as being shown how to make your own Irish coffee (please note- visit depends on availability)

Today will be a free day for you to do as you please. If you enjoy walking then there is a 3 ½ mile fully paved path that starts near the shorefront tracing the shores of Lough Swilly passing the beaches, or swan park which is a peaceful, wooded riverside area which features the scenic castle bridge. It is whatever you choose.

Today after breakfast, we leave Buncrana and drive the beautiful Antrim Coast through Ballycastle and Ballygally to the Stormont Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Breakfast at leisure before we drive to the port of Belfast for our late morning crossing to Cairnryan and then onward over the border into England to our door-to-door service and home areas.
