SCOTLAND – Hogmanay at the Highlander
Single Supplement: 50.00
4 days, Wednesday 30th December 2026 – Saturday 2nd January 2027
Staying at the Highlander Hotel, Newtonmore
Hogmanay is the Scots word for the last day of the old year and is synonymous with the celebration of the New Year in the Scottish manner. It is normally followed by further celebration on the morning of New Year’s Day (1 January) and, in some cases, 2 January—a Scottish bank holiday. In a few contexts, the word Hogmanay is used more loosely to describe the entire period consisting of the last few days of the old year and the first few days of the new year.
Scotland, for our New Year celebrations will take us into the centre of the Highlands, to Newtonmore and the Highlander Hotel. It’s situation within the Spey Valley is superb and is a hotel renowned for comfort, excellent food and entertainment. Cynthia, Elaine and all the staff will ensure you of a real Scottish warm and friendly welcome.
