With Auckland Castle as a backdrop, Kynren is a first for the UK.  The action-packed live blockbuster is performed by a cast and crew of 1,000.  Visitors will be blown away by the 90-minute world class show, providing an immersive and entertaining time travel adventure through 2,000 years of history, myth and legend.  Kynren is a world class show brought to life with magnificent sets, combat, stunts, horsemanship, stunning pyrotechnics and amazing special effects set to a thrilling original soundtrack, it really has to be seen to be believed.  Visitors are taken through an entertaining performance depicting 29 scenes, covering 2,000 years of history, myth and legend, through the eyes of a 10-year-old boy.

Our Itinerary

Day 1   After your door-to-door service has picked you up and brought you to the coach we travel cross country to Richmond to peruse and purchase lunch.  Richmond is one of Britain’s most beautiful and vibrant market towns. With its iconic castle, fine historic buildings, sweeping cobbled market place and leafy riverside vistas, it is the original of no less than 105 worldwide Richmonds – all following in its ancient footsteps.  We later continue to our hotel for the next 3 nights arriving in plenty of time to settle in before dinner.

Day 2   Today is a day of difference as we have a leisurely start before, we drive to the pretty town of Barnard Castle.  An early evening meal will be taken at the hotel before our journey to the star attraction of the week, KYNREN with reserved seating.

Day 3   A free morning to recuperate and reminisce before we travel to the beautiful city of Durham to explore at leisure. The city’s compact size makes it easy to explore key attractions like the UNESCO World Heritage site of Durham Cathedral and Castle. 

Day 4   Today we leave for Northallerton and later Thirsk to explore at leisure and purchase refreshments before we journey to our home areas where your door-to-door service will be waiting to take you to your doorsteps.
