Woodhall Spa is an elegant, Edwardian tree lined village, situated on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Spa waters where discovered in the early 1800’s and it’s then that the spa baths were built so that visitors could “take the iodine rich waters” that was said to have healing benefits. It is an attractive village and well known for it’s peaceful location and relaxing atmosphere. Our hotel is the Petwood which is family owned and enjoys a timelessly setting, unique heritage and is one of the most memorable places to stay in Lincolnshire. It was once home to the 617 squadron, The Dambusters and is surrounded by acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and woodland. Close to the hotel, housed in a former cricket pavilion is Kinema in the Woods. It opened in 1922 as one of the first cinemas in Britain and is the last in the country to use back projection.
