Staying at the Langstone Cliff Hotel, Dawlish Warren
Our holiday to Devon is based in Dawlish Warren at the family run Langstone Cliff Hotel, without doubt the best hotel in the area, run by the Roger’s family now in their third generation. While here we visit Powderham Castle (subject to availability) as well as a boat cruise on the River Exe estuary. We also have a day tour over Dartmoor as well as a visit to Widecombe.
After your personal doorstep service, we join our luxury coach and travel south west, with adequate comfort stops to the Langstone Cliff Hotel for dinner and a stay of 4 nights.
A free morning followed by an afternoon tour via Haytor Vale to Widecombe In-The Moor. This is where the famous uncle Tom Cobley and all visited the fair.
Today (subject to availability) we visit Powderham Castle and gardens. It is the home of the Courtney family and was built over 600 years ago in 1390. We also visit Exmouth where we have a boat cruise on the river with live commentary on the surrounding coastline.
Today after breakfast we have a full day tour over Dartmoor. First, we drive to Tavistock well known for it’s Pannier Market then over Dartmoor to Princetown. We then continue via Postbridge and Moretonhampstead returning to our hotel.
A leisurely breakfast before we start our journey north, with comfort breaks back to our door-to-door service and home areas.
