Cardiff- The capital of Wales is our destination, with it’s castle, impressive arcade and pedestrianised vibrant centre. While here, we include a visit to the Royal Mint, St Fagans and a guided tour of the Welsh valleys. The 4-star Holiday Inn is perfectly located, for easy access to the castle and is just a short walk away from the centre attractions and national stadium.
After your doorstep pick up, we join our luxury coach and travel with suitable refreshment stops down to south Wales and the 4-star Holiday Inn, Cardiff city for dinner and a 4-night stay.
A leisurely free day where you do as you please, maybe visit the castle or attractive vibrant centre or further afield to the National Parliament Building at the water front.
Today we experience The Royal Mint, the official makers of all British coins. We have an included tour and it’s here we see and learn the process of coins being made together with a chance to stamp your own coin. We later visit St Fagans, an open-air museum of life and survival in bygone years.
A full day tour with our local blue badge guide of “the valleys”. You will learn all about the past and present of this very interesting area of the coal mines and way of life as well as lovely views of the surrounding countryside.
After breakfast we leave our hotel and drive north on the old route through Hereford & Craven Arms eventually joining our door-to-door service homeward.
