This is without doubt one of our favourite European holidays. It stays first in the beautiful Austrian village of Mayrhofen in the Ziller Valley for 4 nights, at the 4-star Neue Post Hotel. Our superb hotel is situated in the centre which us surrounded by spectacular mountains and forests with lush green farmland meadows in the lower valley. After our stay here we then cross the border into Germany and follow the River Rhine to Boppard and the very comfortable 4-star Bellevue Rhein Hotel overlooking the Rhine for 2 nights.
The 4* Neue Post Hotel. This stylish hotel has recently undergone a full refurbishment in both public areas and the 93 large and very comfortable bedrooms. Being central in the village it is surrounded by shops and café’s and is made up of 3 buildings across the road from each other which is connected by an underground walkway. There is also a rooftop terrace and outdoor pool as well as an indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam bath.
The 4* Bellevue Rhein Hotel is a traditional hotel situated on the riverside overlooking the river. Now in its 4 generation of family management it is well appointed and equipped to a high standard having an indoor swimming pool, sauna and solarium. It also has a wine cellar where tastings take place.
