Eastbourne is one of Britain’s popular seaside resorts having flat walking along the promenade and town. Attractions include the pier, wish tower, museums and theatres and numerous shops. Our hotel, The Lansdowne is situated on the seafront opposite the western lawns in a quiet position. It is a 4th generation family-owned hotel, dating back to 1912 which has 98 bedrooms and offers large lounges with sea views, bar and restaurant.
After transferring from your doorstep to our luxury coach, we travel south with suitable comfort stops to Eastbourne and The Lansdowne Hotel for dinner and a stay of 4 nights.
After breakfast we have a leisurely day tour. First to Hastings, a maritime resort with old and interesting centre which has a fishermen’s and shipwreck museum. Later we drive inland to battle where in 1066, The Battle of Hastings took place. Today it is a small old-world village having it’s abbey and tea rooms.
Today is a free day, where you can discover the seafront and it’s gardens or browse the shops in the town centre.
A full day included tour, first to Beachy Head where we have time to walk the chalk cliffs. We then continue through Friston and Newhaven to Brighton. Here we can see the Royal Pavillion or maybe take a ride to the top of the i360, Europe’s tallest moving platform at 450FT.
After breakfast we leave Eastbourne and drive north to our home areas, where our door-to-door service will return you to your doorstep.
