York and Castle Howard at Christmas

Staying at the 3* Best Western Burn Hall Hotel

Our first day takes us over the Pennines to Castle Howard, here we have an included visit where we will find the house decked out with Christmas decorations, the colour and splendour all adding to the joy of the festive season. From here we then drive to the outskirts of York to the Best Western Burn Hall Hotel for dinner and a stay of two nights. On the second day after a full English breakfast we drive the short distance into York where during this time of year we find the City’s streets and shops adorned with Christmas lights and tempting gifts. The Minster, Museum and Shambles all inviting us to visit during this season. Afterwards we join our coach and return to the hotel for dinner and relaxation. After breakfast on the third day we leave our hotel and drive to Harrogate for sightseeing or maybe shopping for that special gift. Mid-afternoon we join our coach and drive back over the Pennines eventually to our home areas.
