Our holiday to Wells, Bath and Somerset is based in Wells which is the smallest city in England, founded by the Romans. It is famous for the Cathedral, the first church here dating from 704 A.D. Later in the 12th Century the Bishops Palace was built, eventually creating the diocese of Bath & Wells.
