Wales – The Gower Peninsula, National Botanical Gardens & Tenby

The seaside resort of Tenby has been a favoured holiday destination for years. The harbour town is home to 13th century town walls and the ruins of the town castle exhibited on a headland overlooking the harbour. You will have a full day to explore the town aswell as multiple included visits and excursions to guide you through the spectacular scenery of the Gower Peninsula and southern Wales. Our hotel is situated on the outskirts of Llanelli, and is well maintained and has a traditional character.

Our Itinerary
DAY 1 After our door-to-door service has guided you to our coach, we will travel south to our hotel, The Diplomat Hotel & Spa, arriving for dinner and a stay of 4 nights.
DAY 2 On the second day of your holiday we will take you for a full day to Tenby – a popular tourist destination known for its friendly character and lovely Victorian architecture. Choose from one of the three beautiful beaches to explore, or sunbathe for those needing to unwind. For those who have an adventurous side, why not take the 20-minute boat ride to Caldy Island, owned by Cistercian Monks.
DAY 3 Today your day starts with an included visit to the National Botanic Gardens of Wales. With a selection of parkland, woodland and floral displays you will no doubt enjoy all it has to offer, including the Glasshouse which is residence to rare, fragrant, exotic and even spooky plants! This afternoon we have a visit to the lovely town of Carmarthen before heading back to the hotel.
DAY 4 This morning has an included half day tour of the Gower Peninsula with a local guide– our first stop is at the Gower Heritage Centre in a converted water mill. Once the tour has ended, we enjoy a wonderful cream tea and tour of the mill. The afternoon is at leisure in Swansea for some free time.
DAY 5 Today we unfortunately have to travel home after our Welsh breakfast, through yet more spectacular scenery before arriving at our dedicated stops where your door-to-door service awaits you.
