The English Riviera is a resort in the truest sense of the word, attracting visitors of all ages and interests throughout the year. Torquay has something for everyone at all times of the year, and has been one of the UK ‘s top holiday destinations since Victorian times when the gentry promenaded, bathing huts were wheeled down to the beaches and anyone who was anyone had an attractive villa overlooking the sea. It was the Victorians who first used the English Riviera name to describe their favourite resort and their legacy remains to this day with sparkling white villas perched on the verdant hilltops, beautiful gardens around the seafront and elegant Victorian facades along the main streets. Our hotel is situated on the beach side of the promenade next to the sea, having superb views across the bay from the sea view terrace & lounge.

Our Itinerary
DAY 1 After your personal door-to-door service has brought you to the coach, we head south to Torquay and our hotel. Suitable rest stops will be taken on route.
DAY 2 A free day today to relax and explore all that Torquay has to offer.
DAY 3 Today we visit the market town of Totnes before an afternoon visit to Buckfast Abbey. This wonderful building & gardens are amidst tranquil, solitude surroundings where life almost stands still.
DAY 4 free day today to relax at leisure, or join us on our optional tour with a sail included (Tide permitting)
DAY 5 Today we head to Brixham with its picturesque harbour & fisherman’s cottages.
DAY 6 After breakfast we head North back to Lancashire stopping on the way for an included lunch before meeting your door-to-door service.
