Loch Lomond the largest loch by surface area of any in Great Britain a fresh-water loch, 24 miles long and up to 5 miles wide, now part of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.  Ben Lomond on the eastern shore rises to 3,195 ft in height and the most southerly of Scottish Munro peaks.

Inveraray on the western shore of Loch Fyne, is known as the little white town it is the traditional county town of Argyll and home to the Duke of Argyll.

The Trossachs an area of wooded glends and braes with quiet lochs.  The area came to popularity with Sir Walter Scott’s poem ‘The Lady of the Lake’.  The lake was Loch Katrine where we will take our sail on the Walter Scott pleasure boat.
