Llandrindod Wells – Cwm – Hir Abbey The Brecons and Border Villages

Our holiday to Wales is situated at Llandrindod Wells at the Best Western Metropole hotel which we believe is the best hotel in the area.  A Welsh town close to the English Border countries of Herefordshire and Shropshire but also within easy reach of the Cambrian and Brecon mountains.  Originally a spa town with parkland and an interesting cycle museum which is also included in our holiday together with tours to the mountain regions.

Llandrindod Wells situated in mid Wales close to the English border grew as a spa town in the 1800’s.  The town is well known for the excellent museums.
