Woodhall Spa & The Lincolnshire Wolds

Springtime in Lincolnshire and the wolds, sees the county with it’s fresh sharp colours, quaint villages and woodland.  The pretty village of Woodhall Spa is home to the Golf Hotel beautifully set in it’s own gardens.

Woodhall Spa village is set in a pleasant wooded area on the Southern edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, about 15 miles from Lincoln.  It is noted for its mineral springs, and its World War II association with RAF. 

Lincoln situated on the river Witham, with it’s Gothic Cathedral, Norman Castle and Jews House (said to be the oldest house in Britain) and numerous historical sites alongside modern shopping outlets.

Lincolnshire Wolds are a range of hills in the county of Lincolnshire, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the highest area of land in eastern England between Yorkshire and Kent
