Staying at the Lochfyne Hotel & Kinloch Hotel

Failte / Welcome to Inverary & district where you will find the very best of Scotland. It is the traditional county town of Argyll and ancestral home of the Duke of Argyll, who founded the town in 1745, alongside his new dwelling, Inverary Castle. Much of the town, including the church, was designed and built by the Edinburgh-born architect Robert Mylne between 1772 and 1800. There is lots to do and see in Inverary, the gateway to the Highlands and Islands. Islay, the ‘Queen of the Hebrides’, is probably best known for its peaty, smoky whiskies. Some say they are the best in the whole world. Even if whisky’s not your favourite drink (though it soon will be!) Islay still promises an amazing experience with its birdlife, seafood and dramatic coastal seascapes. The Isle of Arran is widely regarded as Scotland in miniature with the mountainous highlands to the North and the lowlands to the South. Every corner turned brings new scenery. Look out for the Sealions, Eagles, Red Deer and also the Sea Otters.

Lochfyne – At the edge of the wee idyllic toon of Iverary, with uninterrupted views of Loch Fyne and beyond to the Cowal Hills, this popular hotel sees the return of many loyal guests time and time again, all down to the quality of service and the warm welcome from all staff, the hotel has benefited from a recent upgrade.

Kinloch – Family owned and operated for 60 years, this beach front hotel on the sunset side of the Island offers comfort, value ans service with a smile! Happy staff make for happy guests and they deliver warmth, character and fab service, all wrapped up in a great big smile.
