Bournemouth & The New Forest

Staying at the Family Owned Marsham Court Hotel, Bournemouth
Bournemouth is the largest seaside resort in Dorset with seven miles of coastline, an iconic pier, fine shopping centre and beautiful gardens which are centrally located. The new forest is one of the last remaining unenclosed areas of pastureland and heathland in Southern England. It was established as a royal forest more than 1,000 years ago and became a national park in 2005.
Our base for this tour is at the family owned Marsham Court hotel which opened in 1913, and was bought by a Mr & Mrs Marsh. The hotel had only 13 rooms until demand became so high that in 1923, they bought the neighbouring property and extended it to now provide 41 rooms. Now in its 4th generation, the current owners take great pride in the hotels appearance and the service they provide. Aswell as this, it is situated in the perfect location – just moments from the beach and the centre of Bournemouth.

Our Itinerary
DAY 1 After your door to door service has brought you to the coach, we make our way with refreshment stops en-route to Bournemouth and our hotel for dinner and a stay of 4 nights.
DAY 2 A free day today to experience all that your resort has to offer. Bournemouth is part of the Jurassic coast and boasts beautiful beaches and an iconic pier. Take a look round Bournemouth gardens or have a ride on the land train, you could even brave the zip wire on the pier!
DAY 3 Today we visit Salisbury, giving you plenty of time to soak up this towns incredible history. The cathedral is a must see, with it showcasing Britain’s tallest spire. Alternatively, maybe have a relaxed wander round the shops and grab a bite to eat.
DAY 4 Today we have a full day tour of The New Forest visiting Burley and Lyndhurst – the pinnacle of this week.
DAY 5 After breakfast we head for home with ample stops en route before returning to our door to door service and home areas.
