The Bedford Swan – Cambridge & Woburn Abbey

A brand new tour staying at the luxurious four star Swan Hotel at Bedford beautifully positioned, situated on the banks of the river Ouse.  The hotel looks across the river over extensive riverside parkland, very close to the town centre and within easy walking distance of the castle mound and the Higgins/John Bunyan museum.  During this holiday we include a cruise on the river Ouse which starts from outside the hotel and also an included visit to Woburn Abbey the deer park.  We also visit the great university city of Cambridge where ample time will be given to explore the architecture of the colleges or even a punt on the river.

Beford small market town situated on the river Ouse having extensive riverside walks with attractive Victorian properties.  In the town centre stands the Town Hall and church of Saint Paul surrounded by the old and more modern shopping areas.

Woburn Abbey which has been the home of the Dukes of Bedford for over 300 years and today is still the family home,  It has extensive parkland with various breeds of deer.
