Settle to Carlisle Railway

First opening to passengers in 1876 the Settle to Carlisle line takes in 20 viaducts, 14 tunnels and countless beautiful vistas including the 24 Arch Ribble Head Viaduct along its 72 mile track, showcasing the English countryside at its best. You will take the 11.21am train from Settle and land in Carlisle with free time until our coach meets you later in the afternoon.
