Otley & Ilkley on Market Day

The picturesque former spa town of Ilkley is famous for its moor and its quality retail in addition to Betty’s Café Tea Rooms. Otley is a very picturesque area, popular with tourists, walkers and visitors looking for a more relaxed flavour of Leeds. It drew fame for having featured in the hit series ‘Heartbeat’ as the town’s courthouse was the location for Ashfordly Police Station. It is also home to one of the largest local markets in the area with approximately 100 stalls throughout the market square and neighbouring streets.
