MOORCROFT VISITOR CENTRE & TRENTHAM GARDENS (09.15 – D)

Originally founded as a studio in 1897 within a large ceramic company, James Macintyre & Co. Moorcroft pottery soon made its mark on the world. Designs came from 24 year old William Moorcroft who personalised each piece of pottery produced with his own signature or initials.    Today your visit will include a guided factory tour into the heart of the original Moorcroft Factory based in Stoke. You will discover the techniques and processes involved in creating Moorcroft’s elegant and time old pieces.

There will also be a visit to the award-winning Trentham gardens for a meander around the gardens (entrance not included) or to enjoy the shopping experience at the 60 wooden lodges in the shopping village.
