Kirkby Lonsdale & Sizergh Castle

This morning we have a relaxed visit to the quaint village of Kirkby Lonsdale before heading to Sizergh Castle for the afternoon. The house has been home to the Strickland Family for more than 800 years, and boasts a 1,600 acre estate. And if you don’t wish to explore that, you can relax in the gardens instead or spend your time taking in the history of the home itself.
