Staying at the 4* Oxford Hotel

Our tour this year is based at the 4* Oxford Hotel on the outskirts of Oxford, the foremost University City in England, known for its architecture and spires. This leisurely tour takes us to some of the most beautiful villages of honey coloured stone in the Cotswolds.

DAY 1 Morning Departure South stopping on route for refreshment before continuing to the Georgian Town of Royal Leamington Spa with time allowed to explore its centre or maybe take a walk in the Jephson Gardens.

DAYS 2, 3 AND 4 Include full day in Oxford to view the wonderful architecture of the colleges where filming of Inspector Morse took place or maybe take an open top bus tour round the City. A full day tour of Burford, Bourton on the Water and Stow on the Wold. Another day tour to Chipping Campden and Broadway passing through other villages on the way. On day 5 we leave our Hotel and drive through Woodstock situated close to Blenheim Palace, then through Shipston-on-Stour to Stratford-upon-Avon. Here time will be allowed to visit the Shakespeare Theatre or Museum or maybe take a boat sail on the River Avon before continuing our journey North.
