Ireland – Glens of Antrim, Titanic Exhibition & Hillsborough Castle

A special tour taking in some of the finest scenery in Northern Ireland, the beautiful Glens and coastline of Antrim, the romantic mountains of Mourne and of course the famous Titanic Exhibition.

Our Itinerary

DAY 1 Morning departure North via Gretna following the west coast route to Cairnryan for our afternoon crossing to Belfast. We then drive to the superb 4* Stormont Hotel for dinner and a stay of 4 nights.

Day 2 After a full Irish breakfast we drive to Hillsborough Castle (working Royal Residence) for an included visit with morning scones and tea / coffee. Later we take a circular tour round the mountains of Mourne via Newcastle and Kilkeel.

DAY 3 On todays tour we see the Glens of Antrim and also its coast, passing though Ballycastle, Cushendall and Ballygalley.

DAY 4 Today a local guide will join us at our hotel to take us round the sights of Belfast before our special afternoon visit to the Titanic Exhibition. This attraction is situated at the former Harland & Wolff shipyard where the Titanic was built before it set sail on its maiden voyage on the 15th April 1912. It was the largest man made object of its type in the world and has remained famous to this very day.

DAY 5 After breakfast we depart our hotel for the drive to the Port of Belfast for our morning crossing to Cairnryan before continuing southward to our home areas.
