Christmas 2016 at The 4* Stirling Highland Hotel

By request we offer a luxurious five day Christmas break at the four star Highland Hotel in Stirling, Scotland. Situated between the old town of Striling and its imposing Castle, it is the perfect setting for Christmas festivities. The hotel is full of traditional features and character and of course, welcoming log fires.

December 23rd

After collection from your home you will join our coach and other holiday makers for the scenic drive to Stirling making stops en-route. On arrival tea or coffee will be served while your luggage is conveyed to your room. The evening begins with a drinks reception followed by a delicious arrival night dinner, accompanied by a live musician. The remainder of the evening is at leisure, perhaps sample a Malt Whiskey or two!

December 24th Christmas Eve

An included morning visit to Stirling Castle, a magnificent medieval structure, followed by a buffet lunch served at our hotel with the afternoon at leisure, perhaps with a quiz or take in the hotel’s festive movie with included popcorn. Dinner is again served and later a supper time treat of mince tarts and mulled wine.

December 25th Christmas Day

After a full breakfast the morning is free, perhaps to open Santa’s presents. Sparkling wine is served before a 3 course, 3 choice Christmas lunch with all the trimmings. During the afternoon you will have the opportunity to partake in a treasure hunt around Stirling or watch the Queen’s speech followed by a hotel movie and later a light buffet evening meal.

December 26th Boxing Day

After breakfast we make a visit to Scotland’s capital city Edinburgh for the sales or sightseeing, with included refreshment. After dinner this evening you may wish to join in the Scottish entertainment followed by music for dancing.

December 27th

You can enjoy a full Scottish breakfast prior to our homeward journey, visiting Moffat then finally our special doorstep service to your home.
