The Cotswolds cover an area of 790 square miles in the upper part of the southwest region of England and is the country’s largest officially designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, popular with both English and international visitors. The area is well know for gentle hillsides (Wolds), outstanding countryside with river valleys, water meadows and beech woods, sleepy ancient Cotswold stone villages, historic market towns and for being so typically English where time has stood still for over 300 years.

Cheltenham located on the edge of the Cotswolds as been a health and holiday resort since 1716 when the spa waters were discovered. Said to be the most complete regency town in England.

Our Itinerary

DAY 1 morning departure travelling South making refreshment stops enroute to the Cheltenham Chase hotel for dinner and a stay of four nights.

DAYS 2/3/4 Free time in Cheltenham Full day tour to Broadway & Chipping Campden via Winchcombe Edge. Full day visiting the typical Cotswold villages of Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold & Burford.

DAY 5 After breakfast we depart the hotel heading north making refreshment stops enroute to our home areas arriving early evening.
