Our mid-April tour takes us into central England and onto the 4 star Daventry Court Hotel.

Our Itinerary

DAY 1 We begin our holiday by driving south to Coventry where time will be given to visit the Cathedral, shopping centre or Motor Museum etc. before continuing to the 4 star Daventry Court Hotel for dinner and a stay of 4 nights.

DAYS 2,3 & 4 A special included visit to the world famous home of the British code breakers, Bletchley Park. Here you can discover its importance of technological excellence and role during World War two. It is now a flourishing Heritage Centre that celebrates the successes and values for those responsible in helping to shorten the war by as much as two years.

An included visit to Woburn Abbey and Gardens, the family seat of the Duke of Bedford. Here we take a tour of the house and gardens designed by Capability Brown. The drive to the Abbey takes us through some of the 300 acres of parkland which is home to 9 species of deer.

An included visit to Banbury, famous for its cross and the ‘Fine Lady’ who rode a white horse. The town is situated on the River Cherwell, a market town with pleasant shopping and cafes.

DAY 5 After breakfast we leave our hotel and drive through scenic countryside to Lemmington Spa where time will be given to explore this Georgian Town, famous for its spa baths and parkland before starting our homeward journey.
