Bournemouth and the New Forest

Our journey south takes us past Oxford, Newbury and Winchester to Bournemouth, often called ‘Queen of the South Coast’ or ‘Garden by the Sea’. Here we can experience the traffic free promenade, the extent of the golden beaches and well known Grand Pier. Away from the coast, close to the town centre are the Victorian shopping arcades and acres of parks and gardens.

Our hotel is the 3* Suncliff, situated on the seafront overlooking Bournemouth Bay. During our holiday, we have included tours to Salisbury via Fordingbridge and Lyndhurst, the main village of the New Forest. We also have a full day tour of The Dorset villages via Lulworth Cove, Weymouth and Dorchester. There will also be a full free day in Bournemouth to explore the resort or if you choose, join our optional half day tour to Swanage.
