BILLY ELLIOT AT PALACE THEATRE MANCHESTER
10th December 2016 – Matinee Performance
This heart-warming story is set in a traditional mining community in the North East of England. It is about a young boy, Billy Elliot and his dream – that of dancing. Equally funny and yet intensely moving it is a musical that will leave you on the edge of your seat throughout.
This musical is based on the hit 2000 film ‘Billy Elliot’ which instantly struck a chord with many people. The highly successful film broke box office records in many parts of the UK and abroad and was also nominated for a clutch of awards which included thirteen BAFTAS, three Golden Globes and three Oscars.
The director from the hit film, Stephen Daldry returns along with choreographer Peter Darling and writer Lee Hall and they are now joined by legendary performer Sir Elton John. This is set to be one of the most unforgettable musicals of the decade!
